We learned about the situation of a mother from Anhui (we’ll call her “W”). This was W’s third child, and her husband felt a lot of pressure about this. Taking care of two children wasn’t too bad, but the arrival of a third child seemed like much too heavy a commitment for them.
The husband’s attitude showed he was determined (to abort). And W was swaying back and forth.
